BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The historic City of Grafton is uniquely located at the confluence of the Illinois and Mississippi Rivers. The charm and natural beauty of Grafton make it a major tourist destination. We have developed parks and access areas for bird watching and photography along our riverfront. You can spot the great American Bald Eagle as they winter in our area. A self-guided historic walking tour is available.
Grafton has over twenty overnight stay facilities including guesthouses, bed and breakfasts, cottages, and a historic hotel. Our restaurants and wineries offer cuisine from fine dining to casual fare. We offer four seasons of entertainment and attractions including Raging Rivers Water Park, Pere Marquette State Park, live entertainment, water sports, a bike trail, sport fishing, a great Marina, hiking, shopping and our newest attraction the Grafton zip line.
Grafton is a safe, beautiful and growing city located on the National Scenic Byway If you build a home in Grafton, we will offer you a free building lot. Residents have many opportunities for citizens to become involved in our numerous community projects. Recently the city annexed 260 acres of prime land located out of the flood plain that will be utilized as a light industrial park.
We invite people to come to Grafton and escape from the ordinary. Come for a weekend and stay for a lifetime!
