Home for the Holidays

There's no place like home for the holidays, and there's no place like the Meeting of the Great Rivers region get you in the holiday spirit.

Plan a weekend escape or simply come for a day, and you are sure to be filled by heart-warming home tours and strolls back in time.

Start your holiday trip off right and experience an authentic early Americana Christmas at the annual Home for the Holidays home tour in the historic Village of Elsah.

Home for the Holidays
Join us in Elsah, the village where "time stood still", to experience an early Americana Christmas at the annual Home for the Holidays Saturday, Dec. 1, from Noon to 4 p.m.

Tour select historic homes decorated for the holidays, take a horse drawn carriage ride and enjoy a fixed price lunch at Farley's Music Hall. Lunch will be served on a first-come first-served basis and is provided by My Just Desserts. Advance ticket sales are available by going to www.historicelsah.org. Local ticket venues include the Alton Visitor's Center, the Green Tree Inn,  Maple Leaf Inn and Elsah General Store in Elsah. Tickets are also available at the Alton Visitors Center and My Just Desserts, 31 E. Broadway, Alton. Tickets will be available the day of the event. Advance tickets are $15 per person. Event day tickets are $18 per person. Ticket prices do not include lunch which is available for $11 per person. For more information visit www.historicelsah.org. Tickets are limited.
