Be An Official Eagle Watcher

Become an "Official Eagle Watcher" this winter during Eagle Season and receive a free Eagle Watching T-Shirt!

From January through early March, the American Bald Eagle travels along the Mississippi River to its winter home providing eagle watching opportunities not seen anywhere else in the Midwest!

It's easy to become an "Official Eagle Watcher". Go to the Alton Visitor Center or any other eagle hot spot listed below starting Jan. 1, 2019 to receive your eagle watcher's card. Then, come back throughout the season as the eagle counts continue to grow. As you visit the official eagle watching hot spots, a Visitor Center representative will initial your card. Fill up your card and return it to the Alton Visitor Center to pick up your free eagle t-shirt. (While supplies last!)
Adult and child sizes are available.
